How It All Began
We launched this subscription box with a mission close to our hearts: to help save our struggling dog rescue in Colorado. Traditional fundraising just wasn’t cutting it and the number of dogs needing help wasn't slowing down—so we got creative.

I'm a double Cap and girl it shows!
I’m practical, ambitious, and yes, probably carrying a clipboard. I’ve always been the type to plan ahead and pour my heart into everything I do. Over a decade ago, I followed my heart and married young. Today, I’m a proud stepmom to a 17-year-old human, and a dedicated rescue dog mama to Brooks (pictured right), Super Nova, and the periodic foster dawg. I work alongside my husband as a residential contractor, and in 2024, I made the empowering decision to quit drinking alcohol—something that’s deepened my connection to myself and the work I do.
I co-operate My Fairy Dawg Mother with my best friend and chosen sister, Nikki. She’s been by my side through every chapter, holding space without judgment. Together, we created this space with intention, laughter, and a little bit of magic.
Everything I do is rooted in care, humor, and with signature Capricorn precision.

A Colorado based non-profit dog rescue focused on finding the perfect long term home for each dog brought under the rescue umbrella. My Fairy Dawg Mother Rescue, Inc, was established in early 2011.
The Fairy Dawg Mother works with trusted partners in Colorado and nearby states to bring dawgs to the Denver Metro area, where they will have a better chance at adoption. We do our best to select dogs that will be highly successful candidates for placement with a new furever family, but change can be stressful for even the most easy-going dawg. Because of this, we work with foster families to start getting them stabilized, learn about each dawg’s individual temperament, and provide training and guidance to the dawg. We are best known for helping hounds and pitbulls but we are an all breed dog rescue. Whether you call them dawgs, dogs, hounds, or pups we don't care - as long as you love them like family!
