Meet Shay Sharee. Fascinated by turning "nothing " into "something," Shay strives to make art with positive energy.She is a self-taught artist who enjoys many different forms of art, from creative arts, to cooking, to performing arts. She currently produces paintings, jewelry, and sewn products. Her life as an army brat and her love of travel have exposed her too many different cultures, of which she takes influence for her art. We are excited to partner with Shay and showcase her love and positive reflection of black culture.

Meet Hannah Rose - Hannah started RoovybyRose as a creative outlet to tap into during the covid-19 pandemic. As an actor whose entire industry was shut down, Hannah decided to dust off her sewing machine and follow in the footsteps of the entrepreneurs across generations of her family.​
​
Originally from New Orleans, Hannah grew up learning how to walk to the beat of her own drum and create space for herself and her artistic expression. She creates one of a kind pieces that you won't find anywhere else. Something that makes you smile, gives you comfort and adds a little pep to your step.

Meet Toyin, founder of Iya Foods. Born in Nigeria, Toyin and her mother ran a variety of small businesses, from selling fast food to salt water.

After earning her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Toyin founded Iya Foods in 2015.
Inspired by African cuisine, Iya Foods is continuing to expand its portfolio bringing to life rich flavor and culture to create something amazing.

Meet Adiya - As a practicing attorney and mother of two, mornings were hectic. Racing out the door to make with little time spent in front of the mirror.
In search of a shortcut to beauty, Adiya founded Yubi Beauty - A way to apply my cosmetics more quickly at home or on the go.

Yubi is itself a challenge to the status quo – the rule that cosmetic tools need to look, act and behave in a specific way. It is as surprising and delightful a tool as the journey to create it has been. Adiya hopes to put the magic of beauty literally at the fingertips of people everywhere. And in doing so I also hope to spread the word that challenging the status quo, while not easy, can lead to beautiful things in your life and the lives of others.

Meet Stella - the buyer and designer behind Arise Creative Co. She is a lover of all things cozy, coffee, boho, and sweet.
