Our Story

DSC05774.png

Welcome to Hey, Sis.  Meet Candace, Nicole and Melanie (left to right), three sisters working to build a bridge between black-owned businesses and consumers. Our parents raised us to value the importance of supporting each other and investing in the black community, but we realized we weren't putting our money where our mouths were. We wanted to do more, but found it hard to find convenient access to products from black-owned businesses across a variety of categories. Thus the idea of Hey, Sis: a curated box featuring everyday products from black-owned businesses was born! The Hey, Sis. box introduces customers to new products and businesses to customers. By focusing on products from black-owned businesses we hope to make it easier for like-minded individuals to not only support the black community, but also gain access to the wealth of quality products available for day-to-day life.
